Ten MAZ buses have arrived in Novorossiysk as part of the state program “Socio-economic development of Krasnodar Territory”, the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia told BelTA.

The buses are to be used on suburban and city routes. According to the diplomatic mission, they run on natural gas, thus they emit 3 times less air pollutants than vehicles running on diesel fuel and 6 times less pollutants than vehicles that burn gasoline.

The buses for Novorossiysk have all the features that were available for these bus models. They are equipped with air conditioning, an automatic fire extinguishing system, a passenger flow counting system, a multimedia system and Talking City, GLONASS systems, as well as video surveillance and tachographs, as well as sockets for recharging mobile devices, and wi-fi.

The ceremony to hand over the keys to the new vehicles was attended by Novorossiysk Mayor Andrei Kravchenko, representatives of the regional Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities and Minsk Automobile Plant.
