Head of Khabarovsk regional branch of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia Valery Sakhno met with Russia's Primorsky Krai Governor Oleg Kozhemyako, BelTA learned from the press service of the embassy.

The parties discussed ways to increase mutual trade, enhance cooperation in investment, construction, agriculture, science and technology. “We maintain close friendly and historical ties,” Oleg Kozhemyako said. “This is why we see cooperation with Belarus as important. We will also look into the possibility to use your construction capabilities, because the discipline of Belarusian workers and the country's technologies meet modern requirements,” he added.

Valery Sakhno also met with Primorsky Krai First Deputy Governor Konstantin Shestakov, Primorsky Krai First Deputy Minister of Property and Land Relations Aleksei Lyaifer, head of the regional international cooperation agency Aleksei Starichkov, and representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Vladivostok Andrei Brovarets.
