Secretary of State of the Union State Sergei Glazyev sent a congratulatory message to People's Artist of Belarus Vladimir Gostyukhin on the occasion of his 80th birthday.
"Your life and creative career have become the most vivid embodiment of the inseparable spiritual and cultural unity of Russia and Belarus," the Secretary of State of the Union State noted in his message.

Sergei Glazyev noted Vladimir Gostyukhin's contribution to strengthening friendly ties, spiritual unity, and the mutual enrichment of Belarusian and Russian cultures.
"A Russian actor born in the Urals, you have long lived and worked in Belarus, becoming a true people's artist for millions of viewers in our countries. Over many decades of dedicated service to the arts, you have created a unique gallery of vibrant, distinctive characters who captivate with their inner strength, courage, and spiritual depth," emphasized the Secretary of State of the Union State.
As previously reported, the Standing Committee of the Union State decided to establish a special prize "For Contribution to the Preservation of Spiritual, Moral, Cultural, and Historical Values" as part of the "Listapad" Film Festival.
The recipient of the Union State Special Prize at the 31st MIFF "Listapad" was the film "My Grandfather", in which the lead role was played by People's Artist of Belarus Vladimir Vasilyevich Gostyukhin. In addition to the Union State Special Prize of the Standing Committee of the Union State, the leading actor, Vladimir Gostyukhin, was also awarded the prize for Best Male Role.
