Interests of Belarus, Russia’s Chuvashia Republic in agriculture identified

Promising avenues of cooperation were discussed during a videoconference meeting of Belarusian Agriculture and Food Minister Anatoly Linevich and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Russia’s Chuvashia Republic, Agriculture Minister Sergei Artamonov, the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry told BelTA.

Key avenues for advancing cooperation in 2024 were identified as a result. They include deliveries of equipment for Chuvashia Republic dairy farms, sharing of the best practices in animal husbandry, cooperation in the development of hop cultivation, joint artificial selection and mutual deliveries of seeds of agricultural crops, and possible deliveries of sugar beet planting material to the Russian region.
