Gomselmash is ready to ship more combine harvesters to Russia’s Orel Oblast. This matter was discussed during the visit of the delegation of this Russian region to the enterprise, BELTA has learned.

The delegation headed by Orel Oblast Governor Andrei Klychkov familiarized themselves with Gomselmash agricultural machinery, toured a mechanical assembly building and saw an exposition of import-substituting products, as well as the main conveyor.

Gomselmash Director General Aleksandr Novikov assured that the company is ready to lend a helping hand to farmers of Orel Oblast and meet their needs for high-performance machinery.

The delegation also visited Rogachev Milk Canning Factory on 2 April.

Representatives of various industries are exploring cooperation options at their level.

The other day, an action plan to promote cooperation between the regions in 2024-2026 was signed by the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee and the Orel Oblast government. This roadmap will allow specifying further steps to deepen interaction.

Regional cooperation is also gaining momentum. Thus, Gomel Oblast sells beef, mineral fertilizers, machines and mechanisms for harvesting agricultural crops and other products to Orel Oblast and buys scrap ferrous and non-ferrous metals, sunflower oil, metal structures, starch, wheat and other products from this Russian region.
