Belarusian Mogilev Oblast presents its industrial, investment potential at VDNKh in Moscow

On 12 April Belarusian Mogilev Oblast presented its industrial and investment capabilities at VDNKh in Moscow. The event was held as part of the Days of Mogilev Oblast running in Belarus Pavilion at VDNKh, the main Russian exhibition venue, from 29 March to 22 April, BelTA has learned

"It is very important for us to represent Mogilev Oblast at such a large-scale and well-known venue as VDNKh. Today, we have presented 17 industrial enterprises of the region in various fields: mechanical engineering, chemical industry, woodworking, food which are the signature industries of the Republic of Belarus," Deputy governor of Mogilev Oblast Ruslan Strakhar told BelTA.

"We brought the agencies promoting export investment potential on the Russian market. First of all, this is the Mogilev Regional Development Agency, which is a one-stop shop for investors and which supports investment projects at all stages of their implementation. These are also the Mogilev Free Economic Zone and the Mogilev office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which acts as a link between businesses of Mogilev Oblast and Russia and other countries," Ruslan Strakhar said.

According to him, the presentation was attended not only by representatives of the Russian partner regions but also representatives of African and Asian countries. 

During the event, Mogilevliftmash, Krasny Pischevik, FEZ Mogilev held their presentation events. The Mogilev Regional Development Agency conducted a road show of regional investment projects. A food tasting was also organized. Negotiations were held between enterprises of Mogilev Oblast and potential partners.
