It is necessary to promptly remove obstacles for economic entities in the common market of the Union State, Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Alesya Abramenko said during a meeting of the interagency working group of the economy ministries of Belarus and Russia, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Economy Ministry.

This form of communication has been successfully used to discuss issues that hinder the work of economic entities in the common market. The working group is also considered as an effective mechanism for finding acceptable solutions. The participants of the meeting discussed Russia's market of elevator equipment, interaction of digital vehicle passport systems, mutually beneficial supplies of diesel engines to Belarus.

"We are interested in increasing the supplies of elevators to the Russian market, and more active participation in installation of elevators in residential housing and industrial facilities. We also count on Russia's support in discussing with our EAEU partners the Belarusian initiative to abolish customs duty rates on diesel engines. A positive decision on this issue is important for many flagships of the domestic machine-building industry, such as BelAZ, which is one of the largest manufacturers of quarry equipment in the EAEU," Alesya Abramenko said.

During the meeting, the possibility of connecting the national systems of digital vehicle passports created in Belarus and Russia was also discussed to facilitate the export of Belarus-made vehicles to the Russian market.
