Belarus, Russia's Bashkortostan discussing opportunities for cooperation in petrochemical industry

Belarus and the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia are discussing new opportunities for cooperation in petrochemical industry, the press service of the Belarusian embassy in Russia told BelTA.

Head of the Ufa branch of the Belarusian embassy in Russia Piotr Baltrukovich met with Director of OOO Ekoneftekhimtekhnika, Doctor of Science (Engineering) Ildar Khafizov. The head of the Russian company informed the Belarusian diplomat about how Belarusian petrochemical and gas enterprises can benefit from technologies for cleansing oil, associated petroleum gas, and furnace oil from hydrogen sulfide and mercaptan.

Such technologies are designed to bolster the capability of the enterprises to make quality end products, including motor fuel. Piotr Baltrukovich and Ildar Khafizov agreed to discuss matters of mutually beneficial cooperation with enterprises of the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim in detail, the press service noted.
