Belarus ranks first in the world in the export of alternative caviar

Belarus ranked first in the supply of alternative caviar in 2020. This is evidenced by the data of the Worldstopexports project, which specializes in tracking export and import flows around the world. 

According to Worldstopexports, Belarus accounted for 20.2% of all world exports of alternative caviar. The cost indicator of these deliveries amounted to 61.8 million US dollars. 

The leaders in the export of these products also included China (16.7% of alternative caviar exports), Japan (11.9%), Germany (10.5%), Denmark (5.5%), Kazakhstan (5.2%), the USA (4.9%), Russia (4.4%).

The average world price per unit of caviar, which is made from sturgeon caviar, was about 9,460 US dollars. Belarusian exporters sold an alternative game for $5,934 per ton.
