Lukashenko appoints new heads to regional investigative committee departments

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed decrees to make leadership appointments at the Investigative Committee departments of Minsk Oblast, Mogilev Oblast, and Grodno Oblast on 6 August, the Belarusian leader’s press service told BelTA.

Major General of Justice Vladimir Shishko has been appointed Head of the Minsk Oblast Office of the Investigative Committee. Colonel of Justice Aleksandr Protosovitsky will succeed him in his previous role as Head of the Mogilev Oblast Office of the Investigative Committee.

Colonel of Justice Aleksandr Agafonov will fill the vacancy as Head of the Grodno Oblast Office of the Investigative Committee.
