Alexey Bashan emphasised that the Academy cadets actively participate in international events. One of the key events is the International week of cadets' creativity “Vivat, cadets!” held on the basis of the Academy of Law and Administration of the Federal Penitentiary Service in Ryazan. Here, cadets take part in contests of oratory skills and scientific papers.
‘In addition, the Academy participates in the competition on international humanitarian law under the auspices of the International Committee of the Red Cross, which is held in various cities of Russia. The cadets also participate in the youth and scientific forum ‘Northern Palmyra, Territory of Opportunities’ organised by the St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’, - the speaker specified.
In 2024, the Academy participated in the hackathon ‘Artificial Intelligence for Big Data Analytics’ for the first time, and sent two teams. This hackathon was a real challenge for the cadets, and one of the teams took the second place among 16 participants.
Our cadets also took part in the International Forum in Sochi. A representative of the Academy, a fourth-year student, participated in the delegation of the Republic of Belarus, which contributed to the exchange of views and strengthening of international ties.
Additionally, various online competitions are organised to develop the language skills and professional competences of the cadets. The Academy actively supports their participation in such initiatives, which contributes to improving the level of training of future specialists.
