Dmitry Shlyakhtin emphasized that even in traditional projects that have been jointly implemented for three decades, new components are emerging, allowing the projects to evolve and attract audiences year after year.

The First Deputy Minister separately highlighted the preservation of shared historical memory, primarily the memory of the Great Patriotic War. This year, the Union State project on the reconstruction of the Brest Fortress sites is being completed. According to Dmitry Shlyakhtin, this is truly very important, as visitors to the memorial complex can immediately see what has been done.
Cooperation between museum institutions has also been established. One of the landmark projects will be presented as early as next week. Dmitry Shlyakhtin expressed confidence that it will take place, and the Belarusian side will have the opportunity to contemplate one of the masterpieces of world painting, created by a native of Belarus, at the National Art Museum.

The Parliamentary Assembly has set a task for the relevant bodies of the two countries to expand Union State events in the field of culture across all areas: musical and theatrical arts, cinematography, and training of talented youth. The Belarusian side has put forward a number of initiatives, which are currently under consideration. Dmitry Shlyakhtin noted that the process of reviewing Union State projects and events takes a long time, not everything is always straightforward, and some projects take several years to agree on, but they are moving forward confidently.
