Programme of Union State Events for Kupala Night in Alexandria Revealed

The Union State events will kick off at 12:00 on the small concert stage. The stage will feature performances by the V.P. Dubrovsky Smolensk Russian Folk Orchestra; the Honoured Collective of the Republic of Belarus, the L.L. Ivanov Folk Instruments Orchestra of the Mogilev Regional Philharmonic (named after People's Artist of the Republic of Belarus L.L. Ivanov). The audience will hear songs performed by Yelena Kurskaya, a laureate of all-Russian and international competitions and soloist with the State Russian Folk Instruments Orchestra "Metelitsa" (Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation), as well as by young performers – winners of republican creative projects of 2025.

Later, on the same stage, at 17:00, a large-scale concert entitled "Union Stars Visiting Alexandria" will take place, featuring popular artists and ensembles from Belarus and Russia. The programme includes performances by Ivan Dyatlov, Pyotr Yelfimov, Ibragim Karasov, Yelena Kurskaya, the Nizhny Novgorod Folk Song and Dance Ensemble "Lyubava", and the State Song and Dance Ensemble "Dagestan".

As explained by the Representative Office of the Standing Committee of the Union State, the organisers of the festive event have significantly (more than twofold) increased the number of seating places in the auditorium, and have equipped the stage with state-of-the-art lighting and sound equipment, as well as LED screens.

Meanwhile, in the City of Craftsmen, alongside artisans from all corners of Belarus, folk craftspeople from Russia will also present their work. This year, for the first time, masters from Kemerovo, Rostov-on-Don, Kurgan and Chuvashia will take part.
