For industrial development and building genuine partnerships, there are no distances or borders, Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin said at the plenary session Industry 360 at the INNOPROM 2026 exhibition in Yekaterinburg, BelTA has learned.

“Just a few days ago, the Belarusian president traveled on the official visit to Indonesia. I am confident that it will become a landmark milestone in the development of our bilateral relations. The Indonesian presence at this year’s exhibition vividly demonstrates that for industrial development and building genuine partnerships, there are no distances or borders. The chosen theme [Industry 360] carries not only industrial but also profound philosophical meaning. At its core is the understanding that 360, a full cycle, is not a closed circle returning to the same point, but a spiral that gives a new turn of development. Industry 360: Production Without Borders is, in essence, a response to the challenges of our time that our countries are facing,” the prime minister emphasized.

Such a strategy is also relevant for Belarus. “Firstly, we are operating in the context of sanctions, an unstable geopolitical situation, fierce competition in sales markets, and a shortage of certain raw material components. Therefore, we need smart, flexible production systems. Secondly, we are witnessing a shortage of personnel in a number of professions and specialties, which necessitates the search for effective ways to increase labor productivity. Thirdly, consumer requirements for products have changed. The buyer is no longer satisfied with just reliable ‘hardware’. A modern tractor or mining dump truck must operate within a unified digital framework of a farm or a mine. What is needed is not just a supply but service centers with the transfer of necessary competencies to local specialists. Comprehensive solutions are expected of us. Production Without Borders means the absence of barriers between industries and the ability for instant communication between developer and consumer. It means expanding technological stages, localizing components and parts based on local raw materials and accumulated competencies,” Aleksandr Turchin noted.
The potential for an ideal ecosystem for Industry 360 is embedded in the Union State, he noted. “The high level of Belarusian-Russian integration and cooperation is capable of delivering that very full-cycle production without borders. The decisions taken by the heads of our states, the joint work of governments, close interregional ties, and the joint projects and programs… All of this has ensured not only an increase in mutual trade between the countries, but also stronger technological security. The field of opportunities within the Eurasian Economic Union is no less vast. The combination of industrial capacities, raw material bases, and intellectual resources of the 'five' countries is truly an inexhaustible resource. Within the framework of 'production without borders,' Belarus is ready to ensure the transfer of its own technologies and the creation of modern jobs on the territory of our partners,” the prime minister stated.

What are the most important areas Belarus is developing today? “Digital technologies and artificial intelligence. The strategic task is to eliminate the vulnerability of the national IT industry so that critically important sectors are provided primarily with domestic software products. Therefore, residents of the Hi-Tech Park are creating solutions based on artificial intelligence and computer vision that are already working in industry, from product lifecycle management to autonomous warehouse logistics. Take the world-famous BelAZ, one of its models was among the first to receive the status of the ‘Made in the Union State’. The enterprise has implemented a number of innovative digital solutions, an intelligent monitoring and predictive analytics system. Unmanned mining equipment based on proprietary software is being tested. A mechanism for simulating the assembly of dump truck components using virtual reality technology has been implemented. We expect that by 2030, at least 70% of organizations will use digital technologies of the sixth technological paradigm. We have set a goal for industry to increase robotization density to 100 units per 10,000 workers within five years. Already today, 76 automated complexes deployed at the BELGEE plant have made it possible to double body assembly and increase the total number of vehicles produced. The robotic television production launched by Horizont Holding Company has resulted in a twofold increase in labor productivity,” Aleksandr Turchin noted.

In microelectronics, the minimum task is to provide domestic industry and the military-industrial complex with domestic microelectronic components. In machine tool building, annual production of new models of computer-controlled machine tools is planned to fully meet the needs of Belarusian enterprises and to enter global markets. “Belarusian manufacturers are working to expand the range of engines, electric transport, and other in-demand equipment, as well as to localize components and parts for them,” he emphasized.

But the main thing in the ongoing transformation, according to the prime minister, is the multiplier effect that Industry 360 will provide both domestically and internationally. “These are new approaches in the national education system and training for professions of the future, the creation of a seamless digital environment, and the removal of barriers between our countries,” Aleksandr Turchin said.
The international industrial exhibition INNOPROM will open in Minsk on 30 September. “In Minsk we will be able to continue the conversation we began today. Taking this opportunity, I invite you to our autumn forum. I wish the participants of INNOPROM in Yekaterinburg productive work and fruitful meetings,” the prime minister concluded.
The 16th edition of the INNOPROM exhibition is underway in Yekaterinburg. This year’s partner country is Indonesia. The central theme is Industry 360: Production Without Borders. Focus is on the development of flexible manufacturing, created at the intersection of automation, artificial intelligence, and unified industrial ecosystems.
