Lukashenko makes new appointments

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko appointed a new minister and a new governor on 21 December, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian leader appointed Aleksei Bodanov Minister of Anti-Monopoly Regulation and Trade (MART). Aleksei Bogdanov served as Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister.

Ivan Krupko, the former Agriculture and Food Minister, was named Gomel Oblast Governor.

The head of state appointed Sergei Shlychkov Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology.
