Lukashenko appoints new vice premier, company chiefs, diplomats

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko announced new appointments on 21 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state appointed:

Leonid Zayats - Vice Prime Minister;

Valery Baranovsky - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Nicaragua (non-resident).

The president approved the appointment of: 

Aleksandr Bykov - Chairman of the Chashniki District Executive Committee; 

Aleksei Skraga – Director General of the Belarusian Potash Company;

Viktor Filatov – Director General of Bobruiskagromash Holding Management Company;

Igor Zhuk – Rector of Grodno State Medical University;

Alesia Abramenko – Deputy Economy Minister;

Ruslan Varankov – Consul General of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam);

Tatiana Kharlap – Consul General of Belarus in Hong Kong (China);

Mikhail Gurinovich – head of the Secretariat of the Council of the Republic.
