“This holiday is a tribute to the events that influenced the course of world history and laid the foundation for the formation of Belarusian statehood,” the message of greetings reads. “The model of a social state, born in October 1917 on the principles of justice and people’s rule, formed a solid foundation for our country’s development.”
The lessons of the October Revolution have become an example of the fight for rights and freedom, ideals and values for many countries, the president noted.
“Having preserved the tradition of celebration, Belarusians have filled it with a constructive meaning, based on an evolutionary path of sustainable societal transformation without social strife and upheaval. Now, 7 November signifies labor achievements and important discoveries,” Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized.
The head of state wished everyone good health, happiness, prosperity, and bright victories and accomplishments for the sake of their native Belarus.
