Belarus’ PM off to Russia on official visit

Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin has left for Russia. During his official visit, Aleksandr Turchin is set to hold talks with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, BelTA learned from the government’s press service.

Before the talks, the Belarusian prime minister is scheduled to participate in a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The Belarusian government delegation is heading to Russia to discuss various aspects of bilateral cooperation, including the possibility of granting a new loan for joint import substitution projects. Other key topics for discussion include advancing the digital agenda, completing work on unified energy markets, forming a common industrial policy, further unifying transport market regulations and leveling the playing field for business entities in both countries.
