Belarus, Myanmar to work out plan of action to develop cooperation

Belarus and Myanmar have agreed to work out a plan of action to develop cooperation, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said during the expanded-format talks with Chairman of the State Administrative Council, Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Min Aung Hlaing in Minsk on 7 March, BelTA has learned

According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, during the meeting the parties discussed a number of areas and came to the conclusion that the cooperation between Belarus and Myanmar had a significant untapped potential. 

“We have done a lot in the 25 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, but as we talked one-on-one we recognized that it is not enough. We agreed that we will work out a plan of action for our further cooperation, approve it and implement it,” the president said.
