A telephone conversation between Lukashenko and Putin took place

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko had a telephone conversation with President of Russia Vladimir Putin, the press service of the Belarusian leader reports.

The Head of state congratulated his Russian counterpart on his birthday.

The Presidents discussed a number of issues related to the development of Belarusian-Russian relations, the international agenda, and the situation in the region.

The heads of state checked their watches regarding upcoming contacts, in particular, on the sidelines of the CIS summit in Dushanbe, which will be held this week.
