The Belarusian-Russian youth symphony orchestra will be performing in Minsk and Moscow

The Permanent Committee of the Union State and the Ministries of Culture of Belarus and Russia have become the founders of the Youth Belarusian-Russian symphony orchestra to raise the professional level of young musicians of the Union State, gain experience in orchestral performance and concert performances, and join efforts to support the creativity and initiatives of talented youth of the two countries.

As part of the Union State project “Tour of the Belarusian-Russian youth symphony orchestra”, the young musicians will be performing in Moscow and Minsk. 

The orchestra's concert will be held in the Great Hall at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory on October 4th. The musicians will play compositions by Prokofiev, Rahmaninov and Borodin. Meanwhile, the musicians will perform their program in Minsk on the stage of the Belarusian State Philharmonic on October 5th. At the conductor's podium is the head of the youth Belarusian-Russian symphony orchestra, People's Artist of the USSR Yuri Bashmet. The youth orchestra consists of 90 young musicians from Belarus and Russia, who became members of the collective after passing a serious competitive examination.
