Roscosmos approves Soyuz MS-25 crew emblem with Belarusian flag

 The Russian state corporation Roscosmos has unveiled the emblem of the crew of the Soyuz MS-25 manned spacecraft. The crew includes Belarus’ representative Marina Vasilevskaya, BelTA has learned.

According to Roscosmos, the emblem is shaped like a shield, which signifies victory and the accomplishment of goals. Last names of the crew members are written on the emblem alongside state flags of the states participating in the flight – Russia, Belarus, and the USA – in the form of a triangle, which signifies unity of the 21st expedition to the International Space Station.

Roscosmos’ logo is in the center of the emblem in addition to a picture of the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft on its journey to the ISS. Mount Kazbek is at the bottom of the emblem. Kazbek is the crew’s call sign.

Marina Vasilevskaya is preparing for the flight together with members of the main crew: the Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky and the NASA astronaut Tracy Dyson.
