Number of tourists visiting BelAZ up 1.5 times in 2023

The number of tourists visiting BelAZ increased 1.5 times in 2023, BelTA learned from the press service of the enterprise.

The company welcomed 51,595 tourists in 2023 or about 4,300 every month. Over the past year, more than 1,700 excursions were held, up by 42% over 2022.
All in all, in the course of 8.5 years since the BelAZ – Belarus’ Brand project was launched, more than 240,000 visitors from Belarus, Russia and dozens of other countries have been able to see with their own eyes the scale and uniqueness of the enterprise.
One of the most popular things to do during an excursion is to ride in the cabin of a real BelAZ truck. Thus, over the past year, tourists did that almost 2,000 times.
The public joint-stock company BelAZ is the managing company of the BelAZ Holding Company. BelAZ is the world's leading manufacturer of haul trucks and transport equipment for the mining industry and civil engineering industry. BelAZ holds about 30% of the world market of haul trucks with an extremely large carrying capacity. The company makes the world’s largest haul truck with the carrying capacity of 450 tonnes.
