New 55t BelAZ haul truck passes final tests

A new 55t BelAZ haul truck with a modernized driving axle has passed final tests and is ready for real operating conditions, BelTA learned the press service of the enterprise.

BelAZ-7555M has an economical 700 hp diesel engine and a modernized driving axle, which provides increased working life of gears and bearings.
The hydromechanical gearbox is equipped with a new electro-hydraulic automatic control system, which has demonstrated good results in tests.
The haul truck boast tire pressure control systems, automatic fire extinguishing, all-round video surveillance, sensors for body loading and fuel consumption control, high voltage line proximity alarm, air conditioning and heating unit.

BelAZ is the world’s largest manufacturer of haul trucks and transport equipment for the mining industry and the civil engineering industry. BelAZ occupies about 30% of the world market of haul trucks with an extremely large carrying capacity. The company makes the world’s largest haul truck with the carrying capacity of 450 tonnes.
