On 13 June Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No.171 “On measures in pricing”, which corrects some of the president's earlier decrees. The document aims to ensure common approaches to pricing and to establish the most transparent mechanism for setting export prices for certain goods, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Amendments have been introduced to Decree No.550 of 5 December 2013, which stipulate that the maximum allowable increase in payments for public utility services shall not exceed 0.5 base amount (instead of the previously established U.S. dollar equivalent).

Given the established practice on regulation of prices (tariffs), amendments have been introduced to Decree No.72 of 25 February 2011 “On some issues of regulation of prices (tariffs) in the Republic of Belarus”.

In addition, subparagraph 1.3.1 of paragraph 1 of Decree No.6 of 7 May 2012, which allowed commercial organizations located in rural areas to sell skimmed milk powder and butter for export without trading on the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, has been suspended.
