Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on his 65th birthday, BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.

"You are regarded as a competent leader and professional who have turned the Russian capital into an effectively functioning metropolis, a launching pad for bold innovative projects, and a model for assimilation of latest technologies into everyday life," the message of greetings reads.

The head of state noted that he looks forward to the further work with the Moscow mayor to expand mutually beneficial cooperation with Belarus across the entire spectrum of bilateral relations, and to intensify contacts between state bodies and business, scientific and cultural institutions.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Sergei Sobyanin good health, great accomplishments and success in his responsible state post.
