Belarusian BKM delivers new tram cars to Russia’s Barnaul

The Belarusian manufacturer of urban electric transport BKМ Holding Company has supplied a batch of new tram cars to Barnaul, Russia, BelTA learned.

Barnaul continues to upgrade its transport infrastructure to improve passenger comfort and safety. As part of the city’s urban electric transport renewal program, BKМ Holding Company delivered new tram cars of model 802Е to the city.

The company noted that in October 2022, a contract was signed with the public joint-stock company (OAO) UKH BKM for the supply of 10 tram cars (model 802Е) to Barnaul. The delivery was carried out between June and November 2023.
