Belavia bars nationals of six countries to fly from Tashkent to Minsk

Nationals of Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Libya and Syria not be allowed to board flights to Belarus from Tashkent, has learned from the website of the Belarusian air carrier Belavia.

“Following the decision of the Uzbekistan authorities, as from 17 November 2021 Belavia stopped allowing nationals of Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Libya and Syria to board flights from Tashkent to Minsk. These restrictions shall not apply to passengers with diplomatic passports and a valid residence permit in Belarus,” the air company said.

Passengers falling under this ban can refund their tickets at the place of purchase.
