“The fourth Eurasian Women's Forum will be held in St. Petersburg on September 18-20. This forum is held under the auspices of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, and Valentina Ivanovna Matvienko is the chairman of the organizing committee. The forum was first held in 2015, - said Natalia Kochanova. - Over the years, the forum has become a serious international platform where each country can provide information about the situation in gender policy and how the issues of women's support are being addressed.
According to the speaker, the forum is being held on a very large scale. “There will be working sections in absolutely all directions. Seven sections, their topics are quite diverse: medicine, education, culture, industry, agriculture,” she noted.
“We have already started serious preparations for the large-scale event. There is a huge interest in the forum. Therefore, we must present our country worthily. First of all, it is work in the sections and participation in the plenary session,” Natalia Kochanova added.
The Eurasian Women's Forum is an authoritative international platform for a dialog between women leaders from all continents and the development of joint decisions on topical issues of international cooperation, sustainable economic development, mastering new technologies, ensuring healthy lifestyles and environmental safety, and promoting social charity projects.
Forum participants are women parliamentarians, representatives of executive authorities, international organizations, business, business, scientific community, public organizations and charitable projects, authoritative figures of the international women's movement from many countries of the world.
The forum is organized by the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
