On 15 July Belavia resumed regular flights from Minsk to Moscow's Vnukovo, one of the most convenient Moscow's hubs for both direct and transit passengers who want to travel to remote places in Russia. "We have resumed flying to Moscow's Vnukovo. The flight will be operated three times a week in addition to those flights that we operate to Moscow's airports of Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo. Now flights to Moscow are made five times a day, and with the new flight to Vnukovo, sometimes there will be six times a day. Judging by the pace of bookings for the flight to Vnukovo we can say that the flight will be much in demand. I hope that this flight will be a daily service soon," Igor Cherginets said.
The general director also recalled that from today, economy class passengers on some routes will be served hot meals to choose from. "We have revised our in-flight catering. Flights have become longer, especially those to the popular destinations to Istanbul, Sharjah (about 6 hours) and Sochi (4 hours 40 minutes). Previously, when these flights were about 2-3 hours long, sandwiches were an ideal option. Now, with the longer hours in the air we have added hot meals," the company's CEO explained.
In the future, Belavia plans to increase the number and frequency of flights, to map out new destinations.
