Belarus’ Academy of Sciences to showcase latest accomplishments on 30 April

An exhibition featuring the latest accomplishments of organizations run by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) will take place on 30 April as part of a session of the academy’s general assembly, the NASB press service told BelTA.

Alongside the general assembly session an exhibition of the latest accomplishments of NASB organizations will be organized in the entry hall on the first floor. The exhibition will consist of priority areas and will feature innovative projects and R&D products. An exposition of new book publications and archeological findings of humanities scholars of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus will be located on the second floor. Visitors will also be able to tour the permanent exhibition featuring accomplishments of Belarusian science, which are offered to the manufacturing sector.

The session of the general assembly of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus will begin in the large conference hall of the academy at 10:00. About 400 representatives of academic science, university science, and sectoral research as well as young Belarusian scientists will take part in it. Participants of the meeting will discuss last year’s results and tasks concerning the development of the academy and Belarus’ scientific sphere in 2024.
