Minsk mayor visits Ulyanovsk of Russia

A Belarusian delegation headed by Minsk Mayor Vladimir Kukharev is visiting Ulyanovsk of Russia, BelTA learned from the Minsk city administration.

The main purpose of the visit is to attend the fifth joint meeting of the working group on cooperation between Ulyanovsk Oblast of Russia and Belarus. The program began with the opening of a B2B session at the competence center for industrial development within the framework of a roundtable with business of Belarus and the Ulyanovsk Oblast.

"The working group on cooperation between Ulyanovsk Oblast of Russia and Belarus makes a great contribution to the development of bilateral relations. This is a platform for direct interaction between the regions. It is very important that tomorrow we will explore all the promising avenues and draw up sectoral plans with all interested parties to achieve a more effective result. We see good prospects for cooperation in industry, transport, electronics, culture and sport. It is very important to work with our youth. This is the future of our countries, so they must communicate, build friendly relations and exchange experience. I am sure that the upcoming dialogue will be constructive, and new contacts will serve for the benefit of the development of Belarusian-Russian relations," Vladimir Kukharev said as he addressed the participants of the meeting with a welcoming speech.
