In Moscow, with the participation of the Standing Committee of the Union State, issues of equal rights of citizens of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation in receiving medical care on the territory of the Union State were discussed.

The meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly Commission on Healthcare was held in Moscow on July 29, 2025. The meeting was attended by Deputy Secretary of State of the Union State Elena Bogdan, as well as representatives of the ministries of health, justice and finance of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia, the press service of the PS reports.

The parliamentarians were provided with information on the activities of the ministries in implementing the Decision of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of September 23, 2024 "On the implementation of a coordinated policy of the states - parties to the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State in the field of healthcare and on ensuring equal rights of citizens of Belarus and Russia in receiving medical care" and on the progress of implementing the instruction of the Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation V.V. Volodin of November 18, 2024 on analyzing the practice of applying legislation in the Russian Federation and the legislation of the Republic of Belarus in the field of health care in relation to citizens of Belarus and Russia, taking into account their legal status.
