Belarusian government delegation lands in Russian Yekaterinburg

A Belarusian government delegation led by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko has landed in Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russian Federation in order to participate in the international industrial expo Innoprom 2023, BelTA has learned.

Sverdlovsk Oblast Governor Yevgeny Kuivashev welcomed Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko at the airport.

Today the prime minister is expected to visit the fair of Belarusian goods From the Bottom of the Heart. The fair was opened in the shopping and entertainment center Mega in Yekaterinburg on 7 July.

After getting familiar with the fair's operation Roman Golovchenko is expected to have a meeting with Yevgeny Kuivashev.

The solemn ceremony to open the international expo Innoprom 2023, in which Belarus participates as a partner country for the first time, will take place tomorrow, on 10 July. Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin, and Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov will take part in the key strategy session Sustainable Manufacturing: Renewal Strategy of the international industrial expo Innoprom 2023.

Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Iran will arrange collective national expositions during the international expo. As many as 25 collective expositions will be arranged by constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Delegations from Algeria, Ghana, Germany, Egypt, India, China, Nigeria, UAE, Pakistan, Thailand, Türkiye, and Sri Lanka are expected to arrive.

The Belarusian government's press service said that Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko's work schedule also includes a lot of meetings and negotiations. Visits to Sverdlovsk Oblast enterprises have been scheduled.
