Russian president briefed about crew readiness for new mission to ISS

Russian President Vladimir Putin held a working meeting with Yuri Borisov, Director General of the Roscosmos State Corporation to discuss, among other things, the preparation for new mission to the ISS that carries a representative of Belarus. A video of the meeting was released by the Kremlin's press service, BelTA has learned.

At the beginning of the meeting, Vladimir Putin inquired about the preparations for the new mission to the International Space Station. According to the head of Roscosmos, the preparations are on the home stretch. "All comprehensive tests in terms of the crew training are being completed as we speak," he said.
"A crew of three. A spaceflight participant from the fraternal Republic of Belarus Marina Vasilevskaya. She was selected out from six applicants back in December 2022, began training in August of last year. She completed the training, passed all the tests and is ready for the flight. The crew commander is Oleg Novitsky. He is an experienced cosmonaut. The third crew member is the U.S. astronaut Tracy Dyson. She will replace Laurel O'Hara who has worked for six months on the ISS," Yuri Borisov said.
"The Soyuz MS-25 mission is scheduled for the launch on 21 March and for landing on 2 April," the head of Roscosmos added.
