Belarus, Russia discuss foreign policy coordination

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Igor Sekreta and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Ryabkov held consultations on 11 August, BelTA learned from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed current issues of foreign policy coordination and interaction between the two foreign ministries in their respective areas of responsibility, in line with the 2024-2026 foreign policy action program of the States Parties to the Union State Treaty. “In the spirit of allied relations, the parties compared notes and assessed approaches to building relations with certain Western international structures,” the press service said. 

The parties reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close coordination and undertaking active joint efforts to uphold common interests on the international stage.
