Natalia Petkevich: the vectors of the Union State's policy remain unchanged

A festive concert dedicated to the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia was held at the Palace of the Republic in Minsk. Deputy Prime Minister Natalia Petkevich delivered a welcoming Belarus Presidential speech.

Reading out the welcoming address of the head of state, Natalia Petkevich emphasized that the vectors of the Union State's policy remain unchanged — peace and harmony, unity and progress, well-being and social justice. 

"Brotherly nation cherish traditions of trust carried through the centuries, are rightfully proud of their shared history, and sacredly honor the memory of their ancestors, spiritual and moral values," the Deputy Prime Minister noted. 

According to her, significant cooperative achievements help millions of Belarusians and Russians to live, work, raise children with dignity and look forward to tomorrow with confidence.  

"Mutually beneficial partnership in various fields, growing trade volumes, and the implementation of bilateral programs and projects open up new opportunities for sustainable improvement of the well-being of our nations. Following the path of close integration, we can meet the challenges of our time, raise the standard of living and well-being, and jointly educate a decent generation that will continue the relay race of generation," Natalia Petkevich read from the welcoming address.
