The meeting was attended in person and online by heads of the central apparatus of the State Standard, BelGISS, BelGIM, BCCA, specialized structures of the Russian Federation, and the Standing Committee of the Union State.

By November 1, 2026, the Committee's work plan for 2026-2027 will be revised. The main premise for the revision, as emphasized by Dmitry Basko, is to fill the document with practice-oriented measures leading to concrete results, while the deadlines should be optimal. "It is also important to remember that the issues we consider in the 'two' format can subsequently be initiated in the 'five' format (EAEU). Having worked out some relevant aspects and found consensus among ourselves, we can move on to other integration platforms. This will also be a good practical result," expressed Dmitry Basko.
At the meeting, the regulation on the Union State standards fund was approved. The criteria for including standards in the fund are their development within the framework of Union standardization programs, as well as Belarusian standards recognized for application in the Russian Federation, and Russian ones introduced as state standards in Belarus. Documents must be approved or verified for relevance within five years.
The importance of digitalization for protecting the market and verifying documents confirming conformity and test reports for products in circulation was also noted. A decision was made to adjust the algorithm for forming the list of current standards for development on the Union platform. Standardization programs will be developed indicating the goals and results of the work, as well as establishing sources of financing.
Currently, six standardization plans are being implemented in various spheres. Their implementation is proceeding as planned, however, the parties unanimously noted that next year work should be intensified in order to stay ahead. A new plan was approved providing for the development of standards in the field of plastics and products made from them.
Within the framework of the draft Main Directions for the Implementation of the Provisions of the Treaty on the Creation of the Union State for 2027-2029, the parties' consistency was noted both in determining the areas of work and in the action plans for their implementation.
