Lukashenko sends message to participants of Every Third concert in Kazan

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent a message to the participants of the Every Third commemorative concert in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state noted that this commemorative concert is an anthem to the fate of the unbowed people.
“Its title holds a sacred meaning: every third resident of Belarus did not live to see the bright Victory Day. Its story is one of the pain of loss and unparalleled heroism, which have bound the peoples of the Soviet republics together with unbreakable fraternal ties,” Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized.
“The Great Patriotic War reached every Soviet home, and your republic became a home for thousands of evacuated Belarusians. Together, our ancestors brought Victory closer on the home front and repelled the blow of fascist aggression on the battlefield,” the address reads. “We honor the memory of Tatarstan’s sons who are laid to rest on the Belarusian soil.”
“I am convinced that the Every Third commemorative concert will deeply resonate with you, for this is our shared history. Eight decades have passed since the final salvos of that war, yet their echoes still heard today. Belarus remembers. And we will do everything to ensure that the memory of our nations’ tragedy serves as a warning to the world. In the name of life. In the name of the future,” the Belarusian president said.
