Creation of submeter resolution satellites discussed by Belarus’ Academy of Sciences, Roscosmos

Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) Vladimir Karanik held a working meeting with the leadership of the Russian state corporation Roscosmos, the NASB press service told BelTA.

During the meeting the sides discussed matters of bilateral cooperation in the field of remote Earth sensing from space, including prospects for jointly creating spacecraft with submeter resolution. The discussion also touched upon the implementation of the Union State R&D projects Kompozit-SG and Kompleks-SG-MKA.

After the meeting the Belarusian delegation toured the exhibition of the National Space Center.

The delegation of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus headed by Chairman of the NASB Presidium Vladimir Karanik is on a visit to Moscow where it is actively participating in events within the framework of the Space Week. The program of their stay includes a number of meetings and negotiations.
