Scholarships of the President of Belarus for 2025 have been granted to 49 postgraduate students, who carry out dissertation research in educational institutions and scientific organisations in the field of technical, medical, chemical, economic, pedagogical and other sciences on topical and in-demand topics for the relevant industries. This is stipulated by the decree, signed by President Alexander Lukashenko on 10 January, BelTA has learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The President appoints such scholarships annually since 2007 based on the results of an open competition. They are designed to stimulate the attraction and retention of young researchers in the field of science, support their creative initiative, development of national scientific schools, training of highly qualified researchers.
