MPs of Belarus, Russia to discuss Union State youth policy

The Commission on Youth Policy, Sport and Tourism of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia and the Youth Chamber at the Parliamentary Assembly will meet in Minsk on 13 March, BelTA learned from the PA press service.

“The MPs are set to discuss the preparation of the draft strategy for the youth policy in the Union State in the medium term,” the press service noted.
The Youth Chamber will approve its new membership, elect a chairman, first deputy, deputy chairmen and new commissions as the National Assembly of Belarus and the Federal Assembly of Russia have delegated new members to the Youth Chamber and as the term of office of the previous chamber expired.
The meeting will discuss the Youth Chamber's activities at the Parliamentary Assembly in 2022-2024, outline the plans of work for 2025 and look into the proposals regarding the projects aimed at the patriotic education of the Union State's youth in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
