"Russia and Belarus have a lot of work to do to launch joint production of drones," said Maxim Oreshkin, the Deputy head of the Russian Presidential Administration, BelTA has learned.

"There is a lot of very detailed work to be done in a number of areas," Maxim Oreshkin said, commenting on the possibility of an early launch of a joint production of drones in Belarus.

He also clarified that a number of issues need to be resolved before deploying a joint production of drones in Belarus. 

"The difficulty is not only in production, but also in the harmonization of regulations and the development of principles of technological sovereignty in this process. There are a lot of peculiarities," said the Deputy head of the Russian Presidential Administration.
