Lukashenko to pay official visit to Algeria on 2-3 December

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko will pay an official visit to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria on 2-3 December. This marks the first highest-level visit in the history of bilateral relations, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

During the visit, Aleksandr Lukashenko and Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune will hold talks in both narrow and expanded formats. The discussions will center on deepening trade and economic cooperation and advancing mutually beneficial bilateral projects. Key topics are set to include prospects for equipment supplies and industrial cooperation, as well as collaboration in agriculture, medicine, education, and the broader humanitarian sphere.

This visit follows an extensive business program, which featured a joint business forum in Algeria and talks at the ministerial level, as well as between the heads of enterprises and companies.

Following the leaders’ negotiations and the visit overall, the two sides are expected to sign a series of bilateral documents aimed at developing cooperation across various fields.
