Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus Yevgeny Lukyanov has commented on the incident with the Belarusian flag in Riga, BelTA has learned.

He admitted that he was shocked to learn about the incident and the people involved in it. “It can be compared to a brain cramp,” Yevgeny Lukyanov said. The ambassador noted that today the time-tested international law is being replaced by international rules of a different kind and these rules are changed on the fly. “In other words, one can do whatever they want,” the diplomat said.
