Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has gifted a MAZ bus to the mega school, which opened in the Russian city of Voronezh on 1 September. Belarusian construction workers took an active part in building this largest secondary education institution in Russia, BelTA has learned.

During the opening ceremony Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Dmitry Krutoi said: “Let me convey the warmest and most sincere greetings and congratulations on Knowledge Day, on the opening of your remarkable mega school from our President Aleksandr Grigoryevich Lukashenko, who gifted a new bus of Belarusian make to your school. I think this bus will come in handy.”

Built in accordance with the agreement signed by the governments of Belarus and Russia's Voronezh Oblast, the mega school is designed to seat 2,860 students. It has 110 forms. The educational institution boasts cutting-edge equipment, multiple sport grounds, workshops, labs, and an amphitheater and even an observatory of its own.

It is not the first school Belarusians have built in Voronezh Oblast. Exactly two years ago the Belarusian side commissioned a school in Semiluki District. Belarusian specialists are expected to start building Russia's largest kindergarten in Voronezh soon.
