The Governor of the Grodno region, Yuri Karaev, held a meeting with the Governor of the Kirov region of Russia, Alexander Sokolov. The parties discussed a wide range of cooperation.

"Despite the fact that the Grodno and Kirov regions are far from each other, we always have common ground, as with any Russian region," said Yuri Karaev. - These are, first of all, tourism, cultural, humanitarian, and educational ties. And if we take industrial cooperation, then our Kirov colleagues have a desire for the Republic of Belarus, not the Grodno region, but the Republic of Belarus, to build them a modern milk processing plant with their own competencies," said the governor of the Grodno region.

Yuri Karaev stressed that Russian government officials, having wide connections in the business environment, can share their impressions of Belarusian enterprises even in informal conversations. They may be interested in a well-developed processing industry, and Belarusian colleagues are known for their openness and friendliness. The exchange of experience in timber processing and seed production has already been established, which creates real points of contact for cooperation.
