Minsk and Rostov‑on‑Don, Russia have signed an action plan to expand cooperation for 2026-2028, BelTA learned from the press service of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The key areas of cooperation between Minsk and Rostov-on-Don include youth policy, tourism, transport, construction, architecture, media, information and social spheres. Following talks with Rostov‑on‑Don Mayor Alexander Skryabin, Minsk Mayor Vladimir Kukharev noted that signing such a three-year action plan has become a good practice.

“Most importantly, they deliver results and allow us to cooperate across different areas, including those that may previously have received less attention. We have work ahead of us in the manufacturing industry to establish new cooperative ties and supply equipment. We are also learning from the experience of our colleagues in housing and utilities, and we will exchange delegations in this field,” the Minsk mayor emphasized.

As part of the visit, the delegation from Rostov‑on‑Don toured the enterprises Minskzelenstroy and Gorremavtodor.
