Belarusian construction companies discussed material supplies and joint projects in the Kursk region

A delegation of heads of major construction companies from the Republic of Belarus visited the Kursk Region on a working visit. The meeting, chaired by Deputy Governor Elena Atanova, focused on strengthening business cooperation in the construction industry, according to the Kursk Region Government press service.

The Kursk Region was represented at the talks by Svetlana Drozdova, Minister of Border Reconstruction, Development, and Construction, and Levon Osipov, Minister of Economic Development, Employment, and Tourism. The Belarusian side was represented by companies producing cement, ceramics, finishing materials, tempered glass, and fireproof and waterproof insulation.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues, including improving infrastructure, enhancing competitiveness, implementing innovative technologies, and optimizing production. Belarusian construction and design organizations expressed their willingness to supply reinforced concrete products, including custom orders, as well as crushed stone for road construction.

Following the talks, specific prospects for joint work on the supply of construction materials and the implementation of new technologies were outlined. The visit and the discussions that took place were an important step toward strengthening business ties and building a mutually beneficial partnership between companies in the Kursk region and the Republic of Belarus.
