"We have reviewed the tasks set before us and found that all of them have been carried out. The most important thing is that we have outlined an interesting and large set of events that still have to be done," co-chairman of the working group, Minsk Mayor Vladimir Kukharev said.
According to him, the parties need to focus on the coordination of actions to avoid duplication of manufacturing projects. "We need to find areas for cooperation and work them out. Ulyanovsk Oblast has a very high industrial potential, qualified personnel, which, certainly, allows us to solve many issues," he noted.
Vladimir Kukharev also pointed out that the parties reached an agreement on joint personnel training. "It is very important to have highly qualified and experienced personnel. We need to focus more on vocational education programs," he stressed.
According to Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik, who also took part in the meeting, interaction with Ulyanovsk Oblast is a vivid example of the dynamic development of cooperation. "As for the roadmap, it concretizes all areas of cooperation and highlights high-tech production, microelectronics," he said. The diplomat also mentioned aircraft construction, tool and machine tool production.
"Today we have re-signed the roadmap for 2025-2026. A lot has been done. Trade has picked up steam, our enterprises are deepening industrial cooperation. We actively cooperate in the field of culture, sport and tourism. There is a momentum everywhere, but today we also talked about the avenues where we need to work harder, primarily in agriculture," Governor of Ulyanovsk Oblast Aleksei Russkikh said.
He also said that a delegation of Ulyanovsk agricultural producers will visit Belarus soon. "Taking into account the fact that the harvest time is already over, we can study the progressive experience," the governor added.
